The Windthorst Library has been a part of the community of Windthorst since 1966. At that time the library was a small collection of donated books kept at the telephone office. In 1969 the library joined the Southeast Regional Library and moved to a newly built facility made ready for the Library and Village Office.
The library has a board and is always looking for new interested community members to join. Contact Jill if you are interested in joining the board.
The Library plans activities for the community such as:
- Holiday Kids’ Crafts
- Kids’ Coloring Contests
- Monthly Library Raffle Draw for books and prizes
- Summer Reading Program and Saskatchewan Library Week activities
- Programming for Teens and Kids
- Mobile Playground in the summer
- Adult programming
- Book Club
