The Village of Windthorst Cemetery is owned by the Village and operated jointly by the Village and the Windthorst Cemetery Board. The Cemetery is located on the northeast side of the Village along the Windthorst Road. Casket or cremation burial spaces are available. See the Cemetery Bylaw below for rules and regulations within the cemetery.
Plot Purchases
Single Plot (4' x 8') $50.00 - A single plot accommodates one casket or two urns
Double Plot (8' x 8') $100.00 - A double plot accommodates two caskets or four urns
Opening and closing of graves will be arranged with your funeral home. All casket burials are contracted to a third party. Cremation burial opening and closing will be done by the Village between May and October. Between November and April, cremation burials will be contracted to a third party.
