Wasn’t that a Party!!!!!
We are so glad that so many of you (close to 1000) were able to come home and celebrate the 100th birthday of Windthorst. We hope that the many displays in the school and museum and the moments of fellowship with friends evoked many wonderful memories of this Village we all call home.
While many changes have occurred in the Village during the past 100 years, one thing has remained constant – the spirit of the pioneers remains strong within the community. It is reflected in the involvement of the residents of Windthorst and the surrounding area in school, church and community events and organizations. Windthorst remains a community of “Heart” – celebrating the strength and courage of our ancestors, the friendship of neighbours and relatives, the goodness of each one
