The Windthorst Golf Course was built in the mid-twenties by a group of remarkably far-sighted Windthorst men. The nine hole sand green course is located on the eastern edge of the Village.
A club house with lockers and a metal shed for storing golf carts are located on site.
The Windthorst Country club is solvent, the golfers enthusiastic. For the people along Highway 48, it is a splendid place to enjoy a well loved recreation.
